Mr. Reising has thirty-eight years of experience in the environmental and regulatory compliance arena, including supervisory, management and administrative positions with the USEPA (United State Environmental Protection Agency), USDOI (United States Department of the Interior) and the private sector. He routinely communicates, coordinates and negotiates on a professional basis with the public, industry, consultants, university researchers, environmental groups, state, local and federal officials as well as members of the news media.

During his twelve years with the Federal Agencies in Evansville, Indiana; Chicago, Illinois; and Washington D.C., Rick has presided as Penalty Assessment and Hearing Officer for violations of the regulations. He has experience in implementing the functional activities of the Rebuttable Presumption Against Registration as set forth in the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act. He has also managed the review of pesticide chemicals for environmental and human health hazards and exposure with professional teams consisting of toxicologists, microbiologists, chemists, lawyers, economists, technical writers and media specialists.

Rick has nine years of corporate industrial experience with both large and mid-sized national and Midwest regional coal mining companies. In this capacity, he managed environmental departments responsible for compliance with state and federal regulations. He interacted with state and national trade associations as well as local, state, and federal legislators regarding new regulations and their impact on the industry and the economy. He serves on several Boards of Directors for private companies and non-profit organizations and is involved in several community action groups.

Rick has seventeen years of experience in the private consulting sector and is currently responsible for corporate administration including marketing, financial, public relations, contractual and legal activities of the CERM business. He also provides administrative direction for three other successful environmentally related companies in which he has differing levels of ownership. He specializes in the development of specific industry regulatory strategy on existing and proposed statutes and rules that effect client-related industries. In support of these clients, he has designed and implemented a wide variety of special multidisciplinary monitoring and research studies, prepared technical reports, maintained the legal defensibility of the data, and provided expert testimony.
